Competition Commission of India is inviting application from the eligible candidates for 31 posts ofDirector / Deputy Director (Law, Economics and Financial Analysis), Joint Director (Law and Economics) and Office manager (Corporate Service and Library Service). 1. DIRECTOR (LAW)
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Ph.D. in Competition Law or equivalent from a recognized University and eight years experience in the relevant field
OR Master’s Degree in Law or equivalent from a recognized University and ten years experience in the relevant filed OR
Bachelor of Law (Professional) or equivalent from a recognized University and twelve years experience in the relevant field.
Desirable: Experience in Competition Law.
Age Limit: Between 40 years and 45 years as on 18/08/2017.
Pay Scale: Rs.37400 – Rs.67000 and Grade Pay Rs.8900/-

 

2. DIRECTOR (ECONOMICS)
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Ph.D. in Economics in Micro Economics or Industrial Organisation Theory or Econometrics or equivalent from a recognized University and eight years experience in the relevant field
OR Master’s Degree in Economics or equivalent from a recognized University and twelve years experience in the relevant filed.
Desirable: Experience in Competition Law
Age Limit: Between 40 years and 45 years as on 18/08/2017.
Pay Scale: Rs.37400 – Rs.67000 and Grade Pay Rs.8900/-

 

3. DIRECTOR (FINANCIAL ANALYSIS)

Educational Qualification: Ph.D. in Commerce or Finance or Accounting or equivalent from a recognized University, Chartered Accountant or Company Secretary or Cost Accountant or Financial Analyst and eight years experience
OR Master’s Degree in Commerce or Master’s Degree Business Administration (Finance) or equivalent from a recognized University and twelve years experience.
Desirable: Experience in Competition Law.
Age Limit: Between 40 years and 45 years as on 18/08/2017.

4. JOINT DIRECTOR (LAW)

Educational Qualification: Ph. D in Competition Law or equivalent from a recognized University, and three years experience in the relevant field.
OR Master’s Degree in Law or equivalent from a recognized University and four years experience in the relevant filed.
OR Bachelor of Law (Professional) or equivalent from a recognized University and six years experience in the relevant field, including in corporate sector.
Experience: Experience in Competition Law.
Age Limit: Between 35 years and 40 years as on 18/08/2017.

5. JOINT DIRECTOR (ECONOMICS)

Desirable: Subject knowledge in Micro Economics or Industrial Organisational Theory or Econometrics or Financial Economics.

6. DEPUTY DIRECTOR (LAW)

7. DEPUTY DIRECTOR (ECONOMICS)

8. DEPUTY DIRECTOR (FINANCIAL ANALYSIS)

Educational Qualification: Master’s Degree in Commerce or Master’s Degree in Business Administration with Accounting and Finance or equivalent.
OR Qualified Chartered Accountant/Company Secretary/ Cost and Works Accountant/ Financial Analyst or equivalent and with three years experience in the relevant field including in corporate sector.
Age Limit: Maximum-33 years as on 18/08/2017.
Pay Scale: Rs.15600 – Rs.39100 and Grade Pay Rs.7600/-

 

9. OFFICE MANAGER (CORPORATE SERVICE)
No. of Vacancies: 13 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in any discipline from recognized university, and Diploma/Certificate course in Human Resource Management/ Secretarial Practices, or equivalent; and with three year’s experience in the relevant field.
Desirable: Master’s Degree or equivalent with one year Diploma in Human Resource Management/Secretarial Practices or equivalent.
Age Limit: Maximum-28 years as on 18/08/2017.
Pay Scale: Rs.15600 – Rs.39100 and Grade Pay Rs.5400/-

 

10. OFFICE MANAGER (LIBRARY SERVICES)
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Library Science or equivalent with three years post qualification experience in the field of library and information services.
Age Limit: Maximum-28 years as on 18/08/2017.
Pay Scale: Rs.15600 – Rs.39100 and Grade Pay Rs.5400/-

 

Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.

 

Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Written Test and Interview.
Written Test will be likely to be held on 29th October, 2017 at Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai andKochi.
Exact Date, Time and Venue for examination/interview will be intimated to the eligible candidates in due course as well as such information will be also available in the official website of Competition Commission of India — www.cci.gov.in.

Application Fee: Candidates must pay Rs.600/- as Application Fee. Fee can be paid through Demand Draft / Pay Order drawn in favour of Competition Commission of India (Competition Fund) Account, payable at Delhi.
