Odisha Staff Selection Commission (Odisha SSC) is inviting application from the eligible candidates for 74 posts of Inspector of Supplies. Candidates selected for the post will be on contractual basis under Food Supplies & Consumer Welfare Department, Odisha, Bhubaneswar. 1. INSPECTOR OF SUPPLIES
No. of Vacancies: 74 Nos. (UR-37, SC-13, ST-24 out of which 24 posts reserved for Women candidates.)

 

Educational Qualification: i) Graduation Degree or an equivalent qualification from an institution recognised by the Government and Knowledge in Basic Computer Skills.
ii) Candidates must have passed Middle School Examination with Odia as a language subject or have passed the High School Certificate Examination or equivalent examination with Odia as a subject / medium of examination in non-language subject or have passed a test in Odia in M.E School Standard conducted by Educational Department.

Candidates must be able to speak, read and write in Odia.




 

Age Limit: Minimum-21 years and maximum-32 years as on 01/01/2017. Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.

 

Consolidated Pay: Rs.9300/- per month.

 

Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Preliminary Examination, Main Examination, computer Skill Test and Viva Voce Test.

Examination Fee: Candidates must pay Rs.100/- as Examination Fee. Fee can be paid through Online mode during submission of online application form by using Debit/Credit card or Net banking OR can be paid through Bank by means of fee payment Challan. NO EXAMINATION FEE REQUIRED IN CASE OF SC/ST/PWD CANDIDATES.

Note: Candidates belonging to PWD, Ex-Servicemen, Sport Person as well as in Service contractual Employees claiming age relaxation shall have to submit the detailed application form to the Secretary Odisha Staff Selection Commission, Barack No-1, Unit-V, Bhubaneswar through Speed Post by 25/10/2017.

Upon successful payment of prescribed fee and submission of online application form, the system generated Registration/ Acknowledgement Slip with unique registration number will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print-out it for future correspondence.
