Jammu & Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) is inviting application from the eligible candidates for 08 posts of Assistant Director Fire & Emergency Services. ASSISTANT DIRECTOR FIRE & EMERGENCY SERVICES

No. of Vacancies: 08 Nos. (OM-04, RBA-02, SC-01, ST-01)

 

Educational Qualification: B.E (Mechanical) from an institute recognized by AICTE/State Government.

 

Age Limit: Minimum-18 years and maximum-40 years as on 01/01/2017.

 

Pay Scale: Rs.9300- Rs.34800 with Grade Pay of Rs.4800/-

 




Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.

 

Physical Standards:

(i) Male Candidates: Height — 5.6 cm; Chest (unexpanded) — 32 cm; Chest (expanded) — 33.6 cm; Weight — 5.2 cm

(ii) Female candidates: Height – 5.2 cm.

 

Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Written Test, Oral Test andInterview. Examination will be held at different centers located in Srinagar and Jammu cities.

Examination Fee: Candidates must pay pay Rs.805/- (Rs.405/- for reserved categories) as Examination Fee. Fee can be paid through Bank only by means of Fee Payment Challan. Upon successful payment of prescribed fee and submission of online application form, the system generated Registration/ Acknowledgement Slip with unique registration number will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print-out it in two copies on plain A4 size paper. One copy of the print-out must be retained by the candidate for future references and the other copy is to be send along with attested copies of testimonials (qualification certificate/mark sheet, age proof, caste certificate, experience certificate if applicable and etc), at the below given address so as to reach on or before 30.12.2017
