Assam Public Service Commission is inviting application from the eligible candidates for 35 posts of Inspector of Schools/ DEEO/ Deputy Director and Assistant Engineer (Civil/ IT). 1. INSPECTOR OF SCHOOLS/DEEO/DEPUTY DIRECTOR

No. of Vacancies: 08 Nos. (OC-06, ST-01, OBC/MOBC-01)

Educational Qualification: Second Class master degree with B.T/B. Ed degree and possessing teaching experience in school or college for ten years or administrative experience for ten years of which five years must be teaching.

Age Limit: Maximum-43 years as on 03/03/2016.

Pay Scale: Rs.12000 – Rs. 40,000 with Grade Pay of Rs. 6300/-

 




2. ASSISTANT ENGINEER (CIVIL)

No. of Vacancies: 24 Nos. (UR-01, OBC/MOBC-17, STP-2, STH-2, PWD-2 (HH-1, OH-1))

Educational Qualification: Degree in the respective branch of Engineering (Civil) of an Indian or Foreign University recognized by the Govt./AMIE (parts A&B) passed.

Age Limit: Minimum-21 years and maximum-43 years as on 01/01/2017

Pay Scale: Rs.12000 – Rs. 40,000 with Grade Pay of Rs. 5400/-

 

3. ASSISTANT ENGINEER (IT)

No. of Vacancies: 03 Nos. (OC-03)

Educational Qualification: BE/B.Tech, in computer Science and Engineering or Engineering Degree in IT in regular course only from any Engineering College/University recognized by AICTE.

OR Engineering Degree in IT from IGNOU in Distance education mode.

Age Limit: Minimum-21 years and maximum-43 years as on 01/01/2017

Pay Scale: Rs.12000 – Rs. 40,000 with Grade Pay of Rs. 5400/-

 

Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.

 

Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Written Test/Screening test / Viva-voce interview.
