Assam Public Health Engineering Department is inviting application from the eligible candidates for 12 posts of Finance Specialist, Sanitation Specialist, LDA – Accounts and Office Assistant on contractual basis under World Bank assisted Rural Water Supply & Sanitation Project (Neer Nirmal Pariyojana) under PHED in seven districts of Assam viz. – Jorhat, Kamrup(M) ,Hailakandi, Bongaigaon, Sivsagar, Sonitpur and Morigaon. 1. FINANCE SPECIALIST
No. of Vacancies: 06 Nos.

Place of posting: Kamrup-M-01, Jorhat-01, Hailakandi-01, Morigaon-01, Bongaigaon-01, Sivasagar-01
Educational Qualification: MCOM/MBA(Finance)/CA/ICWA or equivalent.
Must be computer literate, knowledge of tally software will be an added advantage.
Exceptional degree of integrity, judgment and tact in handling the most sensitive, diverse and confidential material and Strong communication skills in English, Hindi and Local Language.
Experience: Minimum 3 year of relevant working experience in budgeting, Accounting, financial management for large scale programmes/projects etc.
Experience of working in Government programmes or externally aided projects preferred.
Age Limit: Maximum- 45 years as on 01/01/2017
Pay: Rs. 5.04 lakh per annum.

 

2. SANITATION SPECIALIST
No. of Vacancies: 04 Nos.

Place of Posting: DPMU -Jorhat-01, Morigaon-01, Sivsagar-01, Bongaigaon-01
Educational Qualification: Master degree in engineering, social science, environmental science, water and sanitation, or a related field.
Knowledge of SLWM technology options and experience in implementing SLWM activities in rural areas.
Exceptional degree of integrity, judgment and tact in handling the most sensitive, diverse and confidential material.
Fluency in English, Hindi and local language is necessary and desirable.
Willing to travel extensively in rural areas.
Experience: Three years of professional development experience in the WASH sector, and significant project management experience.
Experience in implementing, designing, or coordinating WASH in rural community.
Familiarity with community-based sanitation programs, and with a diversity of latrine designs for rural communities.
Age Limit: Maximum- 45 years as on 01/01/2017
Consolidated Pay: Rs. 5.04 lakh per annum.

 




3. LDA – ACCOUNTS
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos.

Place of Posting: SPMU Office- Guwahati -01
Educational Qualification: Graduate in Commerce from a recognized Institute and Good knowledge of Government Accounting, Income Tax, VAT and other Taxation matters.
Exceptional degree of integrity, judgment and tact in handling the most sensitive, diverse and confidential material.
Must be computer literate and should have knowledge MS-Office, Internet, e-mail etc.
Strong communication skills in English, Hindi and Local Language.
Experience: Minimum two years of relevant post qualification experience in budgeting, financial management, accounts and audit.
Candidates working in similar capacity in Government projects/PSU/Externally aided projects will be given preference.
Experience of working with Tally software.
Age Limit: Maximum- 45 years as on 01/01/2017
Consolidated Pay: Rs. 20,000 – Rs.25,000 per month.

 

4. OFFICE ASSISTANT
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos. (DPMU-Kamrup-M-01)
Educational Qualification: Graduate in any stream from recognized institute and must be computer literate and should have diploma in computer application and type writing.
Strong communication skills in English, Hindi and Local Language.
Experience: Minimum one year of relevant post qualification experience in office administration/file management/office correspondence etc.
Age Limit: Maximum- 45 years as on 01/01/2017
Consolidated Pay: Rs. 10,000/- per month.
